Personal Bio

I am the oldest child of 3 girls, and was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was raised in rural Oregon, and was very involved both in sciences and all forms of physical activity. I played soccer for 7 years, swam competitively for 12, and danced competitively for 15 years. I love art and music (despite the lack of ability with both), and have always been an avid reader. In university, I often spend my minimal free time reading or weightlifting.

Extracurriculars

I am the Vice President of UNM's Honor Student Association, and help plan events and provide resources for the honors college. I have been involved with HSA for 2 years, and am currently in my first term as VP. I am Conference Chair for UNM's Society of Women Engineers, and aided the organization of the attendence of dozens of student to a national conference. I was a member of SWE prior to my chair position, and have attended 2 national conferencees since I joined in the fall of 2024. I am also a performer for the SLOPE dance group at UNM, performing in a show with my peers each semester. In Spring 2026, it will be my fourth semester being a performer with this group.
